I want this week to be one of the best weeks of your life! To do that we need to look at a possible hindrance to that to make sure it is not at work within our lives. One of the strongest evil spirits in America is the spirit of pride. We even stamp thing's 'Made with American pride.' When pride comes to a person it's insidious. It's one of the most stealthy of all the evil spirits. It creeps in and slowly suffocates and crushes people. People who once were outspoken and vibrant for the Lord are made mere shells of who they were once were or were meant to be. They say 'I'don't need any help. I don't want any prayer. Your ways are not my ways. I'll stick with me & Jesus which manifests into 'other people just aren't walking/teaching/mentoring as they should.' Pride. It's an evil thing. It comes before a fall. Have you found yourself under spiritual attack lately? Pray and ask God if you have been influenced by a spirit of pride and if so rebuke it! You don't know better than the manifold wisdom represented within God's church, His people. Don't judge others, that's pride, or suffer the wrath of God. We need to make room and time for people to be filled to prevailing levels of the Holy Spirit and fire. If we had, we would not be nursing hordes of Christians on life support. We would have an unstoppable army! Today let's band together against this evil spirit called pride. It's more than an emotion, it's more than just an intellectual decision, it's spiritual in nature! Jesus said, "The thief does not come, except to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). So if pride is at work there's stealing, killing and destroying going on, and you can be certain the enemy is at work. Know that Jesus always gives life. Could you use some new life? A better life? A more fulfilled spiritual life? Pray and ask God if pride has somehow gotten into your life and pray that God would remove it in the Mighty name of Jesus. 'And he who the Son set's free is free indeed!' So pray and receive Jesus into your life today!
