Children are at the heart of the ministry at JWC, after all they are the next generation. We understand the importance of safety and the power of teaching your children the truth of God's Word and most importantly who Jesus is to them. In the book of Mark verse 10 it says "People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Jesus knew that investing in the lives of the children would set them on the course for the future of who they grow up to be. Our goal is to provide them with the truth of God's Word and how it applies to them.
At JWC we have a team of volunteers that dedicate their time and efforts to minister to the children who attend with us. Through a time of games, snacks, and Bible Study our goal is to show your children the example of Jesus and to continue to tell the stories of how He walked this earth and the example He left for us to follow. Scriptures tell us to "train up a child in the way he should go, that when he is old, he won't depart from it." Through the building of fundamental truth of love Jesus left for us, we provide them with a safe haven to learn the real truth of God's Word.
