A collection of thoughts based on our Wednesday night Tony Evans study: I've been thinking a lot about people and I'm a little concerned for some lately. They say they believe in the Bible, but they don't use it by living by it. The 'sword of the Spirit' belongs to God. The Bible is the voice of God written down. We need to be responsible with the Word of God because the sword, the only offensive weapon listed in the Bible against evil, has been placed into people's hand to use. The truth I have come to know when opposing injustice and evil is that a person needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit so that the Bible comes alive within them and their voice is so aligned with God's voice that God's Word does happen when God speaks it through a person claiming it as truth into the situation or circumstance they encounter. You see..... we loose spiritual battles when we go human. Today let's agree to pick up the sword of the Lord , stand our ground for the Kingdom of God, resists the devil by truly believing and speaking God's truth, His Word and live with expectation that God will supply all our needs. Hebrews 4:12 'For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the ideas and thoughts of the heart.' God wants us to slice and dice the spirit world with his weapon of choice. His Holy Word. Today no matter what your up against, be responsible, use the Word of God into every situation by starting your reclamation claiming 'It is written that...' and spiritually slice and dice the spirit world.
